Shameet Thakkar, Managing Director of local (Leicester) firm Unimed Procurement Services Ltd., joined a two-day engagement in Washington, D.C., at the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Summit in late October.

Shameet was one of more than 2,000 entrepreneurs from across the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) program invited to the Summit. The two-day event was the largest convening of small business owners in the US, celebrating fifteen years of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program's impact.

Thanks again for the opportunity to catch up with the fantastic manufacturers, suppliers, freight forwarders and aid agencies that Unimed collaborates with all over the world, at AidEx - The Global Humanitarian Aid Community this year at the wonderful Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland.
