Integrated services.

Procurement.

In addition to designing GHSC plans, Unimed has the capacity to implement the procurement phase of these programmes, underpinned by our network of over 250 quality assured manufacturers and suppliers.

Logistics.

Ensuring the accurate and secure delivery of all healthcare commodities is of paramount importance.

Unimed has a diversified network of freight forwarders and logistics organisations that are integrated into the planning and implementation of all GHSC operations.

  • We facilitate collaboration among various stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners. This collaborative approach helps align efforts and resources towards common supply chain goals.

  • GHSC-TA promotes sustainable supply chain practices by integrating health financing and governance components. This ensures long-term improvements and accountability in supply chain operations.

Unimed embeds sustainable practices across technical assistance, procurement, and all elements of the supply chain.

  • Technical Assistance projects share the same DNA with how Unimed approaches all projects, tailored to the needs of individual countries.

This may include technical assistance to strengthen supply chain systems for priority public health programmes such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, family planning, and maternal, newborn, and child health.
